Location not specified

Certificate:false

Description

This cocus wood flute is stamped "GEO. RUDALL" on the left hand, right hand, and foot sections, with "WILLIS / FECIT" appearing on the foot section. Seven silver keys with round covers are mounted in turned blocks, notably without a long F key. Plain narrow silver mounts band the instrument. The head joint is unmarked and of lighter color than the body, suggesting it may be a replacement. Made by John Willis of London for Rudall as dealer.
