Description
This boxwood flute in five joints bears the stamp "GEO. RUDALL / 5 CLEMENTS.INN / LONDON" with an additional stamp on the foot reading "GEO: RUDALL / WILLIS / FECIT". Seven silver keys with square flat covers are fitted to the instrument, and silver ferrules, rings, crown, and foot cap provide the mountings. An ivory bushing lines the embouchure hole. Overall length measures 663 mm.
